Yes — you can play old Krillion games, just not on the official daily page. The daily dive disappears at the 04:00 UTC reset and the official game never replays it, but between this site's archive and practice mode and the official Unlimited Dive, there are three real ways to revisit past prompts. Here is exactly how each works.
Why old Krillion games "disappear"
Krillion is built as a shared daily event: everyone on Earth gets the same 7 prompts, 25 seconds each, and when the reset hits at 04:00 UTC (midnight US Eastern), yesterday's board is gone from the official page. That scarcity is the point — it's what makes comparing scores meaningful — but it also means a missed day feels like a lost one. It isn't. The prompts retire from the stage, not from the record.
Way 1: read any past day in the answer archive
Our answer archive holds every daily sheet since July 16, 2026 (Dive #1) — 56 days and counting — with all 7 prompts and every accepted answer grouped by the official rarity tiers, spoiler-safe behind tap-to-reveal. If you only missed yesterday, the yesterday page jumps straight to it. This is the reference option: you see what the crowd answered and what it scored, which is half the training value on its own.
Way 2: actually replay past dives in practice mode
Reading answers is study; playing them is practice. Our practice mode rebuilds any archived dive into a playable round: same 7 prompts, you type an answer per prompt, and each one is graded against that day's real roster with the real six-tier scoring — Plankton through One in a Krillion. No 25-second clock, no daily limit, and the newest sheet is always excluded so nothing can spoil the live game. If you missed a day, this is the closest thing to playing it for real.
Way 3: the official Unlimited Dive
The official game added an Unlimited Dive mode ↗ in late August 2026 — a free, open-ended mode at krillion.io that keeps prompts coming past the daily seven by drawing on archived content. Note the name: it's Unlimited Dive. The separately sold themed packs (movies, sports, geography, lexicon — $5 each) are a different product built on the same engine. How to train with old prompts (the part that actually works)
The mistake is treating old prompts as content to consume. They work as a calibration loop: answer the prompt cold first — in practice mode or on paper — and only then open that day's sheet and compare. Note where your answer landed versus where you expected it: overestimating yourself on a "clever" answer and underestimating a "boring" one are the two classic calibration errors, and you can only see them against a recorded sheet. An honest note
Krillion Answers is an unofficial fan site, not affiliated with the game's creators. One limitation worth stating: our practice mode grades against the recorded answer roster for each day — if the game later graded a brand-new answer that nobody submitted on the original day, we can't know its tier, because the public roster only contains answers that were actually accepted. For everything on record, the grading you see is the game's own.

Do old Krillion prompts come back?
No. Each daily dive is a one-day event: 7 prompts, 25 seconds each, and at the 04:00 UTC reset (midnight US Eastern) the old prompts retire from the official game for good. Krillion has never rerun a daily prompt as far as we can tell — but the retired prompts live on in archives and practice modes, official and unofficial.
Does practice mode count as my official score?
No. Practice rounds on this site are replays of past dives graded against the recorded answer roster — nothing counts toward any daily total, and today's sheet is always excluded so practice can never spoil the live game. The same is true of the official Unlimited Dive: extra reps, separate from the daily event.
How far back does the Krillion archive go?
Our archive currently covers 56 daily dives back to July 16, 2026 — the game's first dive — with every accepted answer and its official rarity tier for each day. New sheets are added automatically minutes after each 04:00 UTC reset.
