Privacy Policy
Krillion Answers (krilliongame.net) has no user accounts or logins. Most answer and filter interactions happen in your browser, while analytics, advertising measurement, hosting requests and messages you choose to send involve third parties as described below.
Browser tools and practice records
The answer lookup, archive filters, hints and score calculator run client-side.
The answer lookup downloads a static index shard based on the first normalized
character you type; the full typed term is not submitted to our server. If you
open or share a URL containing ?q=your-answer, that query is part of
the requested URL and may appear in hosting logs and analytics page-location data.
Practice mode stores these records in your browser's local storage, so they stay on this device:
- Your best full-round score.
- Your streak date and count.
- Your completed full-round count.
- The date marker for a completed practice challenge.
- Answered-question indexes for each saved date, used to prioritize unpracticed questions.
Practice does not save the answer words you type. Use “Clear saved practice history” on the practice page to remove all five kinds of record. This does not clear Google cookies or erase data already received by analytics providers.
Analytics and tracked links
Google Analytics 4 is active on site pages. It can receive page location, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser data, and interaction measurements according to Google's configuration and policies. We do not send answer-box keystrokes as custom analytics events. Browser privacy controls and content blockers can restrict this measurement.
Plausible Analytics is also active, served from our self-hosted installation at analytics.lingyi.systems. It is a cookieless, aggregate page-view measurement: its tracker does not set analytics cookies. Outbound-link and file-download measurements include the destination URL or file path, so they identify which link was clicked. Automatic form measurement counts submissions without including the values typed into the form. Page-view requests include the page URL and referrer; avoid putting private information into URLs you open or share.
Advertising and cookies
A Google Ads tag (AW-18320679920) shares page-view signals with Google Ads. The Google AdSense site code is also active for site verification and AdSense features. Site-owned display ad slots remain inactive in the current source; Auto ads are controlled separately in AdSense.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and find other vendors' personalized-ad choices at aboutads.info/choices. These provider settings do not delete your practice records or historical analytics data.
Your choices and data retention
- Clear practice history on the practice page to reset its saved records.
- Use your browser's site-data settings to remove this site's local storage and cookies.
- Where Google displays a consent message, use its available choices to manage that consent.
- For a privacy or deletion request, use our contact information.
This site does not provide its own cookie-settings panel. Google tags can load when you visit a page; this policy is an explanation, not a consent control. Clearing browser data does not delete copies held by hosting or measurement providers.
GDPR and European Privacy Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act, visitors residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data processed about them, as well as the right to object to or restrict processing. Where processing is based on consent (such as advertising cookies and personalized ads), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time through Google's consent dialog or your browser settings.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents possess the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Interactive Contact Form and Inquiries
The contact page provides an interactive inquiry form and direct email contact. If you submit an inquiry, your provided name, email address, topic, and message are processed strictly to answer your request and address any site corrections. We never sell contact information or use it for unsolicited marketing lists.
Data we do not collect
- No accounts, passwords, or profiles.
- No server-side practice profile or stored practice answers.
