How the checker works
Krillion grades every valid answer into six rarity tiers — Plankton (10), Too Clever (15), Schooler (30), Rare (60), Deep Cut (85) and One in a Krillion (100). We search our saved daily sheets within the coverage dates above. Matching ignores punctuation and case; normalized matches do not validate the spelling you would need to submit in the official game.
A missing result means only that our index did not find a match. Official answer sets may change or contain entries outside our daily archive. Check the specific prompt and date in every result.
Reading your result
- Tier badge — the rarity the game assigned for that prompt, color-coded from cyan (Plankton, surface) to violet (One in a Krillion, trench).
- Score — the points the answer earned; points convert to dive depth at 1 point = 10 meters.
- Prompt & date — exactly which daily prompt accepted it, linked to the full answer sheet for that day.

Frequently asked questions
How do I check if my Krillion answer is valid?
Type an answer to find occurrences in our saved daily sheets. A result shows the prompt, date, recorded tier and score for that saved roster. It does not prove universal validity, and a missing result does not prove that an answer is invalid.
If my answer was valid once, is it always valid?
Validity and rarity are prompt-specific. The same word can be a Deep Cut under one prompt and Plankton under another, and an answer that scored once is not guaranteed to fit today's prompt. Use the results to see exactly which prompt and date each occurrence belongs to.
Where does this answer data come from?
The checker covers 69 saved sheets through Dive #69. Current sheets come from public krillion.io data; Dives #1–47 were backfilled once from a separate public archive. See Methodology for the fields and limitations.
